Renata Knapik-Miazga
Renata Knapik-Miazga is an elite épée coach and former world-class athlete with over 25 years of experience at the highest levels of international fencing. She is the most accomplished Polish épée fencer in history, with medals from the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, and World Cup events. As a co-founder of the Tarnowska Akademia Fechtunku, she spent ten years developing youth and competitive fencing programs in Poland. She is currently a university-level fencing coach competing in the NCAA system, bringing daily experience from the U.S. collegiate fencing environment. Renata combines high-performance expertise with a strong focus on long-term athlete development and technical excellence. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes athlete-centered training, tactical intelligence, and respect for the core values of sport.

Damian Miazga
Damian is a fencing coach and club organizer with years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting a structured training environment. He played an active role in the growth and daily operations of Tarnowska Akademia Fechtunku, helping create consistent training opportunities for fencers at different stages of development.
Since 2013, Damian has actively supported the career of Renata Knapik-Miazga, an Olympian and international medalist, while gaining valuable experience alongside coaches working at the Olympic level. He has also competed in amateur épée events, giving him practical experience from both the coaching and athlete perspective.
This background shaped his understanding of technical development, tactical preparation, athlete support, and long-term training structure. His coaching approach is based on strong fundamentals, discipline, individual attention, and helping athletes grow with confidence.
